Description:
I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

**Update:December 16,2007** Lizzy has found her forever home!!.

**Update:December 5,2007** The vet says she is ready to go to her new home!!

**Update:November 13,2007**

When Lizzy was taken in to get spayed, our vet found out that she has whipworms and tapeworms. Poor little girl! Even with being so sick, she has been soooo sweet. Not to worry though, she is on an aggressive treatment (drontal plus) and will be available for adoption as soon as she gets a clean bill of health from our vet (we are thinking about two weeks) Please don't hesitate, put in your application and make an appointment to meet her so she can be yours when she is ready.

Lizzy is a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog. She was found wandering around our local high school and some nice people called and had her picked up. She was very hungry yet so friendly. Everyone believed she would be claimed. She took up residence at my house while an ad was ran in our newspaper, contacted Animal Control, and the Humane Society. I am really shocked that nobody ever responded. She has wonderful markings and is very sweet. She is going to make someone a very good companion!! She is current on shots (including rabies) , has tested negative for heartworms, and is spayed. If you are ready for lots of wet kisses and a faithful companion for life, check her out!!

Please research this breed if you are not familiar with Heelers. My 'personal' dogs are all heelers and we LOVE this breed but we did need to learn their personalities when we first got them. DogBreedInfo.com.

Lizzy's adoption fee will be $125.In addition to her treatment, she has been treated with Advantix(a flea and tick preventative) and will be given a dose of Interceptor(a recommended heartworm preventative) before she leaves her foster home.

Please call to make an appointment to see her, or look for her at our next Adopt A Pet date on our Petfinder home page

Pets For Life Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person. There is also an application to be approved.
