Description:
We prefer emails as our method of corresponding. We get many phone calls each day (about animals that need help and families who want to adopt). We simply cannot keep up with our calls. It is much easier for us to respond to emails when we have free time (often these are hours where most people are asleep). If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out an application. We promise to get back to you. Thank you so much for understanding.

Wendy is camera shy, so we will try to get some better pictures of her.

Wendy is a Chihuahua that was in a situation where the family could not take proper care of her.  She is about 4 years old, and loves to be a lap dog.  She is a little cautious with men, but loves women.  She is small and should be in a home that doesn’t have small/young children, like most Chihuahuas.

Wendy is up to date on all of her vaccinations, tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly prevention, has been spayed.  She does have two luxating patellas that are not causing pain, so the vet says she does not need surgery at this time.

Wendy’s adoption fee is $75.

All of our pets are fostered in family homes. please read our guidelines carefully. If the animal is listed on our site, it is still available. We will update our listings as soon as the animal has found a home.

The first step in adopting one of our pets is filling out an adoption application at www.PAWFirst.com

After your application is approved, we will schedule an appointment for you to meet the pet.

Please understand that we do not ship our pets. You will need to personally come to meet/pickup the pet.
