Shadow was left behind when her owners moved away.  So she went to the house where she believed she would be taken care of.  She is settling into her foster home and learning to be an inside pet for her forever family when they find her.  We believe she is a Terrier mix, could be Manchester/Fox/Rat, and maybe a little bit of something else.

Shadow does seem to be house broken.  The neighbor said that her kids played with her for a solid afternoon, carrying her around and dressing her up.  That is Shadow’s idea of the “good life”.  She can worm her way into your lap before you have a clue she’s there and you’ll just be petting away.  Shadow is afraid of loud noises – vacuum cleaners, buzzing things.  She’s been mainly an outdoor & garage dog, so indoor sounds are scary.  Her foster mom says Shadow tells her that the indoor life is what she is meant for.

Shadow has tested negative for heartworms and takes monthly heartworm prevention.  She has had all her vaccinations and is spayed.  Her adoption fee is $100.
