ADOPTING A FRIEND

We require an adoption application be filled out and approved, see below. Our adoption application helps us to get to know your needs and wants in an animal companion, and helps us to make sure each animal finds the best home possible. Every animal's temperament is different, so the more information we share, the better placement we can make for you and our animals. We also do a vet check to ensure the best possible placement that will last a lifetime. All applications MUST be filled out completely to be considered. We DO NOT ship our animals and MUST meet the adopter. We require that you live within driving distance of Ponca City to adopt one of our foster pets.

We do reserve the right to refuse a potential adopter at any time for any reason.

If you have any questions about an adoptable pet, please find the foster's information on the pet's page.

We strive to make FOREVER placements and the best matches for our animals AND the families searching for a lifetime companion. Unless otherwise noted all pets are to be kept as indoor pets.

ADOPTION FEES

Adoption fees can vary, as each animal may require different medical treatment. Some of our pets will be listed as a VIP, meaning they are in high demand for adoption and quickly find a loving home, their adoption fee is higher than the other pets in our rescue. Because of this, they will leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need expensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

    OUR POLICIES

First, an application must be filled out completely and approved. Since we are a group of foster homes and do not have a facility, we make appointments for meeting with prospective adopters.

When pets are too young for spay/neuter, there is a refundable deposit that is required by the State of Oklahoma. After the pet is altered, send a copy of the vet receipt and we will mail the deposit to you.

If you are approved but are unable to pick up your new pet for more than a couple of days, you will have to pay a nonrefundable deposit of half the adoption fee. When you pick up the pet, that will be applied to the adoption fee. IF you do not show up at the specified date, the deposit will be kept and the pet adopted to the next approved applicant.
